Steven Beattie was named to the Daktronics Division II Men's Soccer All-America first team, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Beattie, a junior from Skerries, Ireland, led the Norse with 19 goals and six assists for 44 points. He was also named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Daktronics Midwest Region Player of the Year this season.
Beattie now has 51 goals all-time at NKU, setting a new career mark entering his senior season. He also holds the NKU single-season mark after with 21 goals in 2008.
NKU finished the 2009 season with a 15-6-2 record and qualified for its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament.
