Daryl Landrum was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year, the conference office announced on Monday.
Landrum, in his 13th season at the helm of the NKU golf program, helped direct the Norse to their fifth GLVC championship overall and third in the last five seasons. The Norse took victory by five strokes over runner-up Indianapolis at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbia, Ind.
Additionally,
Danny Lewis earned medalist honors at the conference meet with a three-round total of 213, taking All-GLVC honors in the process.
The award is Landrum's third on the men's side and fourth overall GLVC Coach of the Year honor.
Landrum looks to guide Lyndsey Bevill to victory as she competes in the NCAA Championships beginning May 12 at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.
