Rachel Brown has qualified as an individual for the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament, which will be held May 1-3 at Belle Vernon, Pa.
Brown tied for 15th place last week at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships with a two-round score of 158. She shot a 75 during the final round of competition.
Nine teams and four individuals from non-qualifying teams will compete in the East Region in a 54-hole event. The top three teams along with the top three individuals not with a team from each of the four regionals will advance to the championships.
The NCAA national finals will be held May 11-14 at The Meadows in Allendale, Mich.
