JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team fell to a tough nationally ranked East Tennessee State squad by a 7-0 score in Saturday's Atlantic Sun Conference duel.
 
Pierce Kohls fought back in his No. 3 singles match against ETSU's Juan Ramierez, dropping a 6-3, 6-4 decision in the match.  ETSU (9-6, 5-1 A-Sun) is ranked No. 74 in the latest NCAA Division I poll.
 
NKU, now 2-16 overall and 0-7 in A-Sun play, returns home on Thursday to take on North Florida in conference action.
