MACON, Ga. – Northern Kentucky University men's tennis player
Guillaume Berman was named to the Atlantic Sun Conference's All-Conference second team, the league office announced on Thursday.
Berman, a senior from Fontaines-sur-Saone, France, posted a record of 9-10 in singles play on the season, including a 3-5 mark against A-Sun opponents, playing predominantly against the best opponents in the league as NKU's top flight player.
“It is nice that my fellow coaches in the Atlantic Sun Conference recognize Guillaume on his play at the top of the lineup,” said NKU head coach
Brian Nester. “Every match Guillaume has embraced the best in the conference, and gained their respect with his play and demeanor.”
Entering the final weekend of his collegiate career, Berman claims a career singles mark of 52-25 dating back to his debut in the 2010 season, playing primarily in the No. 1 and No. 2 flights throughout his career. Berman also has a 38-36 mark in doubles play.
NKU wraps up the 2013 season this weekend at the National Invitation Tennis Tournament in Edison, N.J.
