HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men's soccer team has added several faces from around the globe to its 2015 class, bringing the class total to seven.
Liam EvansLiam Evans comes to NKU from Pembroke, Bermuda. The athletic midfielder from Saltus Grammar School in Hamilton, Bermuda also competed in basketball, track and volleyball in high school. Evans played club soccer for Robin Hood FC in the Bermudan First Division. He made 17 appearances for the club, scoring six goals and notching five assists throughout his career. He helped the club gain promotion into the Bermudan Premier League and was nominated for Bermudan First Division Young Player of the Year following the 2013/14 season. Evans was also recently named to the U18 Bermuda national team.
Johannes JansenJohannes Jansen makes the journey to Highland Heights from Heinsberg, Germany. Jansen graduated from Anita-Lichtenstein Gesamtschule in Geilenkirchen, Germany. He spent a few seasons in the youth system at Borussia Mönchengladbach, and most recently appeared for FC Wegberg-Beeck in the Oberliga Mittelthein. He has appeared in 32 matches for Wegberg-Beeck, recording one assist playing in the midfield.
Rizwaan DharseyDaniel Lahav becomes the third German to come to NKU in the class of 2015. He comes from Düsseldorf, Germany, and he gradatedfrom Theodor-Fliedner Gymnasium. He competed in the U19 Niederrheinliga with Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. He made 48 appearances with the club, scoring four goals and adding eight assists during his career.
Rizwaan Dharsey joins the Norse from the Darlington Soccer Academy in Rome, Georgia. The pacey forward is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa. Before Darlington, he played at Bahrain DODDS High School in Manama, Bahrain. He captained the soccer team for two seasons, and played varsity volleyball and basketball. He was a two-time honor roll recipient, and he helped lead his school to a quarterfinal appearance in the DODDS European Championships. He played for the U19 team at Darlington, winning the Battleground U19 Championship and reaching the finals of the Publix Atlanta Cup.
Nick PerezNick Perez suits up for the black and gold from Aurora High School in Aurora, Ohio. He helped the Greenmen to four straight district titles, one Chagrin Valley Conference (CVC) title and one state semifinal appearance. He scored 46 goals and added 20 assists during his career with the Greenmen. During his senior season, he was named to the All-District and All- CVC first teams as well as being named the CVC Most Valuable Player. Perez played club soccer with Everest SC, helping the club win a state championship in 2013.
Dylan ProwDylan Prow joins the Norse from Male High School in Louisville, Ky. The midfielder captained the Bulldogs during his senior season, earning All-Region and All-District accolades. He appeared in 52 varsity matches over a three-year span, recording nine career assists and six goals. Prow played club soccer with United 1996 FC in Louisville, captaining the squad for five seasons.

John Basalyga. "This is a very diverse group of players of which they all bring different qualities to improve our overall program; becoming more competitve in Division I."
