EARLYSVILLE, Va.- The Northern Kentucky University men's cross country team placed first in the Open Race at the Virginia/Panorama Farms Invitational on Saturday.
Andrew Schille was the top-Norse placing fourth overall in a time of 25:42.90 on the 8K course.
John Michael Griffith followed Schille in fifth place, recording two points.

Izak Velasquez (eighth, 26:30.80) , Keith Prive (ninth, 26:34.60) and
Caleb Augustus (13
th, 26:54.30) rounded out the Norse top seven.
The race featured four teams with 39 runners on the trail. Northern Kentucky returns to action on Friday, October 2, at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational.
