JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –
Jackson Frame carded rounds of 79-72 for the Northern Kentucky men's golf team to finish third at the Bulldog Florida Invitational hosted by Butler. The Norse claimed fourth in the event.
Clayton Portz, who shared eighth with rounds of 78-78, and
Jacob Brinker, who also nabbed a top-10 finish after posting rounds of 78-79, followed Frame.
Logam Gamm (80) and
Jacob Poore (87) also secured countable rounds for the Norse. In addition to Portz, Brinker, Gamm and Poore, Corey Dulle competed on NKU's team. Dulle closed in 30
th with rounds of 84-91.
Like Frame, Matt Wetherill competed as an individual. He narrowly missed out on a top-10 showing, but earned a share of 13
th with rounds of 78-80.
Butler took the team title, while Evansville's Rick VoyVodic took individual honors after shooting 2-over par for the event.
The Norse will tee it up next at the Wright State Intercollegiate in Dayton, Ohio on April 4-5.
