CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team defeated Tiffin by a score of 5-2 on Thursday afternoon at Five Season Sports Club.

Mate Virag and Jody Maginley dropped just a pair of games as each they posted singles victories against the Dragons.

At No. 1 singles, Virag defeated Luis Ludena, 6-2, 6-2, while Maginley posted a No. 2 win over Elio Lezama Perez by the same score. Maginley's win was his third-straight as his dual match record improves to 8-3.

Court Clark earned a No. 3 singles win over Agustin Mangone, 6-2, 7-5, followed by victories at No. 5 and No. 6 singles from Nick Lang and Blaine Carr.

Lang was perfect on the day, as he paired up with Maginley for a 6-3 win over Mangone and Victor Fernandes at No. 2 doubles.

The Norse turn around for a neutral-site match against Saint Francis (Pa.) in Dayton, Ohio on Friday. First serve is set for 9 a.m.
