BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Northern Kentucky men's track and field team hit the ground running on Saturday at the Hilltopper Relays hosted by Western Kentucky University.

It the 800m, the Norse notched two top-10 finishes with
J.J. Webber taking fifth at 1:56.57 and
Andrew Schille placing sixth at 1:56.80. Webber and Schllie then found themselves on the podium in the 1,500m with Webber taking first in a time of 3:56.96 and Schille taking second at 3:57.63.

In the 3,000m,
Izak Velasquez,
Ryan Burrows and
Blake Meyer placed in order 13
th, 14
th and 15
th Velasquez clocked a time of 9:06.31 with Burrows and Meyer following at 9:07.10 and 9:14.37 respectivley. In the 110m hurdles,
Connor Edwards placed 15
th in at time of 16.68.

Moving to field events,
Jess Adamson placed third in the shot put with a throw of 15.81m (51'10.5"). In the discus,
Cory Harmon (43.46m, 142'7") and
Danny Keller (40.68m, 133'5") placed in order 17
th and 18
th. Keller (47.70m, 156'6") took 12
th in the hammer throw with Harmon (33.24m, 109'01") taking 17
th. In the javelin, Harmon took ninth with a throw of 32.95m (108'1").
