Kearns was a member of the NKU Athletic Council for 27 years and served as the school’s faculty athletics representative at GLVC and NCAA functions. He also authored many reports concerning the athletics program and certified the eligibility of every NKU athlete for 23 years. Kearns also served as president of the GLVC during his career.
