NKU improved to 7-4 with wins against Shippensburg and Stonehill on Friday.
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Northern Kentucky University volleyball team posted a pair of wins on Friday during the first day of the Lock Haven Classic.
NKU began the tournament by claiming a 25-11, 25-15, 25-20 victory over Shippensburg (Pa.). The Norse later defeated Stonehill (Mass.) by the same exact score, 25-11, 25-15, 25-20.
NKU improved to 7-4 overall and concludes the two-day event Saturday with matches against C.W. Post and Lock Haven.
The Norse begin Great Lakes Valley Conference play next Friday against Kentucky Wesleyan at 7 p.m. in Regents Hall. The following day, NKU plays host to Southern Indiana at 3 p.m. in Regents Hall.
