NKU's David Palmer was named to the NABC All-Midwest Region second team.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Northern Kentucky University men's basketball player
David Palmer has been selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-Midwest Region second team.
Palmer, a 6-foot-9 senior center from Nashville, Tenn., averaged 17.1 points per game. Palmer also led NKU in rebounding at 8.2 boards per contest, and he blocked 59 shots to rank second in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Earlier this season, Palmer was named to both the All-GLVC first team and Daktronics All-Midwest Region second team. He shot 54.4 percent from the field as NKU posted a 17-13 overall record. The Norse advanced to the semifinals of the GLVC Tournament.
