What Steven did last week: Beattie drilled a 30-yard free kick into the right side of the net to give NKU a 2-1 win in overtime at Southern Indiana. The goal allowed NKU to open Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a road victory.

Interesting fact about Beattie: He is the reigning NCAA Division II National Player of the Year after scoring 21 goals last season. Beattie was named to the NSCAA All-America first team and was also GLVC Offensive Player of the Year.
