NKU Golf Simulator
Northern Kentucky University Athletics and the Go Norse Fund received a significant commitment to support the on-campus needs of NKU men's and women's golf programs. The $125,000 anonymous gift provided support to purchase TrackMan 4 indoor and outdoor simulation units and establish the first on-campus practice space in each program's existence.
Since the inception of both NKU golf programs, the athletics department has worked with golf courses in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati to provide the necessary training needs for the student-athletes. Travel times and conditions to these facilities, especially during the winter, have been a cause of concern for our student-athletes at times due to weather conditions and academic schedules.
Now, the anonymous gift is making an immediate impact by providing seasonal dedicated golf simulation training space in Regents Hall for golf student-athletes to train throughout the winter on campus.
