HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Bruce Jordan's goal late in the second half snapped a 1-all tie and gave the University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team a 2-1 upset of No. 12 Northern Kentucky University on Sunday.

Michael Lavric at the 81:48 mark to lift Missouri-St. Louis to the win. NKU finished with a whopping 25-5 edge in shot attempts, but the Norse fell to 14-4-1 overall, 11-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Trailing 1-0 in the second half, NKU tied the contest at the 63:35 mark when
Steven Beattie netted his 18th goal of the season.
Seth Eckerlin collected the assist on Beattie's goal.
Missouri-St. Louis improved to 9-6-2 overall, 7-5-2 in the GLVC. The Tritons, who had not defeated the Norse since the 2003 season, now hold a 9-7-3 edge in the all-time series with NKU.
NKU begins play in the GLVC Tournament next Sunday at 2:30 p.m. by hosting Missouri S&T at the Town & Country Sports Complex in Wilder, Ky. NKU is the No. 2 seed, while Missouri S&T is the No. 7 seed.
Drury is the top seed for the GLVC Tournament and will meet Missouri-St. Louis in the opening round.
