After Wisconsin-Parkside took a 2-1 lead early in the second half, Montgomery countered at the 54:45 mark with his sixth goal of the season. Tommy Barrick and Kevin Donnelly assisted on Montgomery's tying goal.

Following a Wisconsin-Parkside foul in the box against NKU's Steven Beattie, Bishop converted a penalty kick at the 59:13 mark to give the Norse a 3-2 lead. The NKU defense held on to the lead, and the Norse bounced back from Friday night's stunning 2-1 upset at the hands of unranked Saint Joseph's.

NKU gained a 1-0 lead just six minutes into the game when Seth Eckerlin found the back of the net off a header that was assisted by John Swiastyn. Wisconsin-Parkside, though, tied the contest at 1-all late in the first half on Collin Monahan's goal.

NKU improved to 8-1-1 overall, 5-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Wisconsin-Parkside dropped to 8-2-1 overall, 4-2-1 in the GLVC. NKU is now 11-13-3 all-time against Wisconsin-Parkside.

NKU finished with a 22-13 advantage in shots and a 7-4 edge in corner kicks. NKU goalie Michael Lavric collected the win and made four saves.

NKU hits the road for Romeoville, Ill., to meet Lewis in a GLVC showdown on Friday. The Norse conclude the road trip next Sunday with a game at Illinois-Springfield.
