HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University baseball team travels to Oxford, Ohio, to meet Miami (Ohio) in a single game Wednesday at 3 p.m.
NKU enters that game with an 11-4 overall record. The Norse have won five consecutive games and are atop the Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division standings with a 4-0 record.
NKU capped its first weekend of GLVC play Sunday by sweeping two road games against Quincy. The Norse rolled to a 10-5 win in the opener, then pulled out a 3-2 victory in 10 innings in the nightcap.

Jason Cisper, a transfer from Miami (Ohio), leads NKU in hitting with a .473 batting average. Cisper has scored a team-leading 19 runs and added stolen seven bases in eight attempts.
NKU also plays host to Lake Erie in a noon doubleheader on Thursday.
