RENSSELAER, Ind. – Michael Holder scored a career-high three goals as the Northern Kentucky University men's soccer team coasted to a 3-0 victory at Saint Joseph's on Sunday.

Paul Andrews picked up a career-best three assists for NKU, which is ranked No. 5 nationally in the NCAA Division II poll. Michael Lavric picked up the shutout and had three saves as the Norse improved to 6-0-2 overall, 4-0-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Holder, a freshman striker from Toronto, Ontario, netted goals in the 19th and 33rd minute to give NKU a 2-0 halftime advantage. He completed the hat-trick performance in the 61st minute by taking a long pass from Andrews and scoring with a shot in the box. Holder now has seven goals this season.

A year ago, Saint Joseph's stunned then-No. 1 NKU, 2-1, in Wilder, Ky.

NKU is now 22-2-3 all-time against Saint Joseph's, which dropped to 3-3-1 overall this season. The Pumas are also 3-3-1 in the GLVC.

NKU plays host to Illinois-Springfield on Friday at 5 p.m.
