Anthony Meyer has scored two goals this season, and both markers have given the Northern Kentucky University men's soccer team victories.
Meyer's latest offensive heroics came late in the second half of NKU's 1-0 win at Quincy on Friday night. The senior from Cincinnati finished off a pass from
Mohammad Salhieh to snap a scoreless deadlock at the 81:13 mark and give No. 7 NKU the road win.
The Norse improved to 11-2 overall, 9-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Quincy dropped to 8-4-1 overall, 7-3-1 in the GLVC.

Ben Dorn recorded three saves and the shutout. Quincy finished with a 9-8 edge in shot attempts, and NKU held a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
NKU is now 9-7-3 all-time against Quincy. The win also enabled the Norse to jump into a first-place tie with Indianapolis – a 2-0 loser to Missouri S&T on Friday – in the GLVC standings.
NKU finishes the road trip Sunday with a GLVC contest at Illinois-Springfield.
