Mohammad Salhieh netted a goal in the 31st minute, and the Northern Kentucky University men's soccer team made that score hold up during a 1-0 victory over Lewis on Sunday.

Ben Dorn recorded his second shutout in three days as the Norse improved to 9-1 overall, 7-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Dorn made three saves for NKU, which is ranked No. 10 nationally in the latest NCAA Division II poll.
Salhieh scored the contest's only goal at the 30:18 mark by sending a shot that deflected off Lewis goalie Alec Pickett into the net. It was the fourth goal of the season for Salhieh, a sophomore from Springfield, Ohio.
Lewis dropped to 4-6 overall, 4-4 in the GLVC. A year ago, the Flyers upset the Norse, 2-0, at the NKU Soccer Stadium.
NKU is now 14-18-3 all-time against Lewis.
NKU returns to action Friday night with a road game at Saint Joseph's. The kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
