LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Dan Schiavi's goal in the 103rd minute sent Bellarmine to a dramatic 1-0 upset of No. 4 Northern Kentucky University in Wednesday's regular-season finale.

With the loss, NKU falls to 13-3 overall and 11-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play, assuring the Norse of no better than a No. 2 seed in the upcoming GLVC Tournament.

Schiavi scored his sixth goal of the season after intercepting a clearance attempt from the Norse defense.  He uncorked a hard shot from 22 yards out and beat NKU goalkeeper Ben Dorn on the right side for the game's golden goal.

NKU held the shot advantage, 18-10, however, eight of those shots came from the Norse defenders in long attempts at net.  Bellarmine's Blake Hunter made eight saves in the victory.

The Norse will take on the No. 7 seed in the GLVC Tournament quarterfinal round on Saturday.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
