KASNAS CITY, Mo.- Mark Magee scored two goals to give Rockhurst a 2-0 victory over Northern Kentucky University in the second round of the NCAA men's soccer tournament.
The Hawks move on to face Millersville next weekend in the NCAA national quarterfinal. The Norse end their season with a 14-5 record.
Magee's first goal came in the 11th minute off assists from Dan Frohock and Lucas Di Rossi. Magee took a shot from 15 yards that glanced off the left post and into the net.
Magee struck again in the 70th minute, finishing a Hawk counterattack by again going to the left side. Assists came from Michael McDonald and Ryan Bass.
