HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University men's soccer team wraps up a brief two-game home stand on Tuesday evening when they host IPFW in NKU's final non-conference match. Kickoff at the NKU Soccer Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m.

This past Thursday, NKU (2-7-1, 0-0-1 Atlantic Sun) opened up its home and Atlantic Sun schedules with a 1-1 tie with Florida Gulf Coast. The Eagles are the two-time defending A-Sun champions, and were the conference's tournament champion last season. The Norse fell behind in the 32nd minute, but found an equalizer in the 76th minute.

IPFW enters Tuesday's contest with a 0-11-1 record. The Mastodons are coming off a 1-1 tie with Western Illinois. The Norse defeated Western Illinois 1-0 on the road on Sept. 25. Four of IPFW losses have come by one goal, and the Mastodons earned an impressive draw in an exhibition with Michigan State on Aug. 17.
Corey Tom leads the Mastodons in goals scored with three in his 12 starts this season. Jackson Tooke and Mitch Falkenstern each have two assists to lead IPFW. Brandon Cloutier has made 63 saves in 12 matches.
Tuesday's match will be the first meeting between NKU and IPFW as Division I members. The teams previously competed at the Division II level in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. NKU is 13-2-2 all-time against the Mastodons.
