RICHMOND, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team started its spring season on a sour note, falling to Eastern Kentucky by a 7-0 score on Friday.

The Colonels (4-1) took each match in straight sets.  The Norse fall to 1-1 on the season.

NKU gets back to action on Feb. 26, opening the home half of the schedule against West Alabama at Five Seasons Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Ky.
