NKU men's tennis drops 5-2 decision to Eastern Kentucky

RICHMOND, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team fell to Eastern Kentucky on Friday by a 5-2 score.

The Norse are now 3-2 on the season.

Christopher Angulo and Tyler Fraser each picked up points in the singles competition.  Angulo bounced back from an 0-6 second set to claim a 7-5 victory in the third set against EKU's Emilio Piriz in the No. 4 flight.  Fraser ran his singles record to 6-1 on the year with a 6-4, 7-6 (3) win over Craig Campbell in the No. 5 flight.

NKU returns home next Friday for a match against regional foe Wayne State.  First serve is set for 6 p.m. at Five Seasons Sports Club in Crestview Hills, Ky.
