Heavy rains claim final day of Charger Chillout softball tournament

DECATUR, Ala. - Torrential downpours overnight have forced the cancellation of Day 3 action at the Charger Chillout softball tournament.  Northern Kentucky University's games against Georgia College and Barry will not be made up.

The Norse close out the Chillout with a 3-1 record.

NKU opens the home half of the 2012 schedule on Sunday, hosting regional foe Ashland for a doubleheader.  First pitch from the Frank Ignatius Grein Softball Field is scheduled for 11 a.m.
