HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team fell short in a 6-3 decision against Southern Indiana in Great Lakes Valley Conference action on Saturday.

The loss dropped the No. 36 ranked Norse to 9-4 overall and 1-1 in GLVC play.  The Screaming Eagles, who are ranked No. 32 in the NCAA Division II national poll, improved to 15-2 overall and 2-0 in league play.

Guillaume Berman and Drew Schroder claimed NKU's only win in doubles play, taking a 7-4 tiebreaker decision over Ben Boesing and Rodrigo Flores in the No. 3 flight.

Andre Correa ran his singles winning streak to eight matches , defeating Michael Kuzaj, 6-1, 5-7, 10-8 in the No. 4 flight.  Correa is now  13-1 overall this season in singles matches.  Tyler Fraser took NKU's other point, defeating Flores in the No. 6 flight, 6-1, 1-6, 10-7.

The Norse get back to action on Easter weekend, traveling to face Saint Joseph's on Friday and Indianapolis on Saturday.
