No. 36 NKU men's tennis takes 9-0 victory from Ohio Dominican on Senior Day

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Seniors Martin Leroy and Tyler Fraser played their final home matches for Northern Kentucky University and came up victorious in helping the Norse to a 9-0 victory over regional foe Ohio Dominican on Wednesday.

NKU (12-4) closes out the regular season on Saturday against Great Lakes Valley Conference foe Lewis.  The match will be a battle of nationally ranked teams, as NKU enters the match ranked No. 36 and Lewis at No. 37 in the latest NCAA Division II national poll.

Leroy and Fraser provided the bookends to NKU's singles dominance, winning their matches at the No. 1 and No. 6 flights, respectively.  Guillaume Berman, Pierce Kohls, Andre Correa and Christopher Angulo also claimed singles victories.

In doubles action, Kohls and Fraser, the No. 6 ranked team in the Midwest Region, took victory in the top flight, with the teams of Leroy and Correa winning at No. 2 and Berman and Drew Schroeder going over in the No. 3 flight.

The win was NKU's second-straight 9-0 victory, as the Norse swept Indianapolis on Saturday in GLVC action.
