HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University baseball team begins a 10-game road trip with a doubleheader against Bellarmine in Louisville, Ky., on Wednesday.
The first pitch was originally scheduled for noon but has been moved to 1 p.m.
NKU is currently 24-10 overall, 17-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse picked up a 3-2 victory in Game 2 against Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon to salvage the doubleheader split after dropping a 17-3 decision in the opening game.
Bellarmine enters the day with a 19-15 overall record and is 11-7 in the GLVC after dropping three out of four games against Saint Joseph's over the weekend.

NATIONAL RANKINGS: NKU is ranked No. 23 in the latest NCAA Division II national poll, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper announced on Monday.
The Norse jumped into the poll last week after winning 16 games in a row but dropped in the rankings after the split on Sunday against the Greyhounds.
LAST TIME AGAINST BELLARMINE: NKU held Bellarmine scoreless in a doubleheader sweep at home on April 3.
Bradley Vanderglas went 5-for-6 with three runs scored, four RBIs and a stolen base on the day to lead NKU to a 9-0 victory in the opening game and 6-0 win in the nightcap.
Mike Nastold (2-0) did not allow a hit and collected four strikeouts in three innings of work in Game 1 before being replaced by
Jim Ryan in the fourth inning. Nastold, Ryan and
Blake Bagshaw limited the Knights to one hit.
The Norse took advantage of two Bellarmine errors to grab a two-run lead after three innings in Game 2.
Vanderglas and
Phil Smith both went 2-for-3 to lead NKU. Vanderglas added two runs and RBI, while Smith collected two RBIs.
Tim Clark collected three strikeouts in four innings of work, while
Brent Wethington added four strikeouts in two innings on the mound.
Brett Loeding did not allow a hit to complete the shutout for the Norse.
NKU now holds a 74-48-1 advantage in the all-time series against the Knights.
CLEMENT LEADS NORSE: Brad Clement went 4-for-7 with two runs on the day to lead the Norse offense on Sunday against Indianapolis.
Clement and Smith began the sixth inning of Game 2 for NKU with back-to-back singles.
Pat Williams laid down a sacrifice bunt, which allowed them both to advance.
After the Greyhounds intentionally walked
Zac Asman, Clement scored the winning run on a
Kris Hecktor single.
