INDIANAPOLIS - The match between Northern Kentucky University and Butler University has been canceled. Severe thunderstorms in the Indianpolis area forced the cancellation of Friday night's contest. The match was initially halted due to lightning, but then later called off as the severe weather continued.

Butler owned a 1-0 lead in the 39th minute when the players were pulled off the pitch due to lightning. In a defensive contest, the Norse were outshot 4-2. Jordan Burt scored the goal for the Bulldogs.

A makeup date has not been announced.
