CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis opened its spring season on a sour note, dropping a 5-2 decision to Duquesne at the Five Seasons Sports Club.

Guillaume Berman and Andre Correa each claimed singles victories as the Norse fell to 1-1 on the season.  Correa went 20-2 in singles play last season, including a string of 15 consecutive victories.

NKU defeated Walsh, 6-1, in its only dual match of the fall.

The Norse return to action on Sunday at No. 9 Kentucky.  First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.
