Bethune-Cookman takes 4-3 decision over NKU men's tennis

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A back-and-forth match went down to the wire, but the Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team came just short in a 4-3 result against Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday.
 
NKU's Cameron Johnson and Jody Maginley got a victory in doubles play against Leonardo Lima and Gilbert Rotich, 9-7.  However, the Wildcats claimed the other two doubles matches to claim the point.
 
In singles play, Guillaume Berman took the top-flight contest against B-C's Seve Day, 6-2, 6-4.  Christopher Angulo defeated Moritz Pronath, 6-0, 6-3, in the No. 3 flight and Andre Correa took a 6-0, 6-2 decision against Santiago Lobelo in the No. 4 flight.
 
NKU, now 3-6 on the season, returns to action tomorrow against Chicago State.
