Men's tennis takes 6-1 win over Chicago State

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Northern Kentucky University men's tennis team ended the non-conference portion of its Spring Break trip in fine fashion, claiming a 6-1 victory over Chicago State.
 
The Norse claimed the doubles point by winning the No. 1 and No. 3 flight matches.  Guillaume Berman and Andre Correa defeated Sergiu Muresan and Mario Noboa, 8-6, while Jody Maginley and Cameron Johnson beat Luis Ulloa and Rashley Yeremia, 9-8.
 
Christopher Angulo's 6-0, 6-1, win over Chicago State's Julian Chavez in the No. 3 singles flight set the tone for the Norse the rest of the way.  NKU also got wins from Pierce Kohls at No. 2, Correa at No. 4, Maginley at No. 5 and Balint Zsidai at No. 6.
 
NKU improves to 3-7 on the season prior to opening Atlantic Sun Conference play against Stetson.
