Women's tennis defeats Chicago State to end 2013 season

EDISON, N.J. – The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team ended its season on a bright note, defeating Chicago State by a 6-0 score to wrap up play in the National Invitation Tennis Tournament, hosted by the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
 
The tone was set right away when both doubles played defeated their opponents by 8-3 scores. Next came straight-set victories in singles play by Claire Spradlin 6-4,6-1, Marta Romeo 6-2,6-2, Shana Kleynen 6-4,6-3, and Holly Robinson 6-0,6-1.
 
The Norse finished their season with a record of 2-19.
