Nick Lang overcame a 5-2 deficit to in the first set to defeat Rashley Yeremia of Chicago State, contributing to NKU's men's tennis victory over the Cougars Friday evening.

Christopher Angulo,
Pierce Kohls, and
Jody Maginley added to the Norse impressive night of singles competition, as they all defeated their opponents in straight sets. Nester continued about the play of his other three singles victors, "Pierce, Jody, and Chris all played solid matches."
On the doubles courts, the Norse rose to the challenge. "All doubles teams were outstanding," Nester added.
The duos of Kohls and
Mate Virag, Lang and Angulo, and Maginley and
Jack Carney all defeated their Chicago State Opponents, 8-3, 8-4, and 8-5, respectively.
Now sitting at 3-3 on the season, the Norse will begin to prepare for outdoor games, which will present a new series of challenges for them. They will embark on a road trip that has them playing four matches in four days beginning with a road contest at Western Kentucky on Thursday. The Norse will then begin Atlantic Sun conference action at Kennesaw State on Friday before taking on Mercer on Saturday. The trip will conclude with a non-conference match at Alabama State on Sunday.
