ResultsJACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team fell to North Florida on Friday by a score of 7-0 on Friday afternoon. With the loss, NKU fell to 5-15 and finished the Atlantic Sun Conference season with an 0-8 record.
Maria Voscekova saw her six-match winning streak in singles play snapped, dropping the top flight singles match to Simona Weymar, 6-1, 6-1.
The Norse finish out the weekend on Saturday with a non-conference match against Bethune-Cookman. The 2014 season comes to a close next week, as the Norse will host Walsh and Wisconsin-Green Bay on Friday, April 18.
