About the PanthersThis will be the third meeting all-time between Northern Kentucky and Eastern Illinois with the Norse leading the series 2-0. The Panthers have two wins coming into the match defeating Lipscomb (8/30) and Robert Morris (9/6). Their nine losses have come against Xavier(8/28), Pittsburgh (9/4), Wright State (9/12), Kentucky (9/22), Oral Roberts (9/26), Northern Illinois (9/29), Missouri State (10/6), IPFW (10/10) and Western Illinois (10/17). Tyler Oliver leads Eastern Illinois offensively with nine points on four goals and one assist. Mike Novotny has logged the most minutes in goal for the Panthers with a record of 2-7 and a goals-against average of 3.39 with 48 saves.

A.J. Fleak earned his fifth shutout of the season against Valparaiso on Saturday. Fleak now has 15 for his career as a Norse, moving him to third all-time in program history. Fleak and fellow goalkeeper
