ONEONTA, N.Y.- The Northern Kentucky University men's soccer team (2-1-0) defeated Saint Francis University (0-1-1) 2-0 on Friday night at the Hartwick College Mayor's Cup.
Ronald Moss notched one goal with two assists in the Norse's second win of the season.
After going scoreless for 58',
Calvin Murphy netted the game winner for the Norse with an assist by
Ronald Moss and
Diego Martinez. Martinez played the ball into the box off of a corner kick, Moss then headed the ball with Murphy beating the keeper with a header of his own. The goal was Murphy's second game-winning goal in two games.
In the 85' minute Moss tacked on the insurance goal with an assist by
Dylan Carss. Carss crossed the ball in from the left side with Moss finishing for his first goal of the season.

A.J. Fleak recorded is second-straight shutout. Fleak also recorded four saves on 11 shots faced. NKU finished the game taking 10 shots with five on goal and one corner kick. SFU tallied 11 shots with three on goal and three corner kicks.

Norse Notes NKU recorded its second-straight shutout after blanking Memphis 1-0 on August 31. The last time Norse recorded back-to-back shutouts was in 2014 when they blanked Stetson in back-to-back matches on November 1 and November 11.
A.J. Fleak now has 12 career shutouts at NKU. Fleak now ranks fourth all-time in program history.
This was NKU's first-ever win over an opponent from the Northeast Conference.
