ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Northern Kentucky University men's soccer team opened Horizon League play on Saturday with a loss to defending League champion Oakland. The Norse overcame a 2-0 deficit with a pair of late goals, but ultimately fell, 3-2, on a golden goal in the 103rd minute at Oakland Soccer Field.

The Norse move to 0-4-1 on the season and 0-1-0 in the League while Oakland earned its first win of 2016 to improve to 1-3-0 and open HL play at 1-0-0.
