Andrew Schille helped the Northern Kentucky University men's and women's cross country teams open the 2016 season at the 35
th Annual Queen City Invitational on Saturday with a bang. The men placed second (62 points) overall in the university division, with Schille winning the race in a time of 18:14.80 (1 point). The women's squad took fourth (95 points) overall in the university division, with top finisher sophomore Hannah Tobler taking 23
rd (13 points) in a time of 22:59.70.

Men's Scoring
- Along with Schille taking first Alec Sandusky (19:07.50, 11 points) took 12th with Michael Mangus (19:08.60, 13 points), Ryan Burrows (19:19.40, 18 points) and Tristian Tapia (19:22.10, 19 points) finishing 14th, 23rd, 24th place respectively.
- The race featured six teams with 83 runners on the 6,000m course.
- Ohio State placed first (15 points) with Xavier placing third (73 points).

Women's Scoring
- Jennah Flairty followed Tobler (23:08.80, 14 points) taking 25th with Kelly Burrows (23:28.80, 19 points), Kimmy Wolfe (23:49.70, 24 points) and Natalie Lienhart (23:52.50, 25 points) placing 35th, 41st and 42nd respectively.
- The race featured eight teams with 91 runners on the 6,000m course.
- Ohio State took first (15 points) with Cincinnati (64 points) and Wright State (78 points) placing second and third, respectively.Â
