SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Northern Kentucky softball dropped a pair of contests in the second day of the Silicon Valley Classic II to move to 4-11 on the season. The Norse first fell to Cal State Fullerton, 3-0, before dropping a 12-0 contest in five innings to Nevada.

- Taylor Ginther got the start for the Norse, falling to 3-5 after pitching 3.1 innings. She struck out two batters and walked a pair.
- Hailey Whitmer tossed 2.2 innings of relief, striking out two and walking none.

- Nevada plated all 12 of its runs in the opening inning. The Wolf Pack loaded the bases early, with three runs scored by way of bases-loaded walks. Nevada scored on four-straight at-bats, with an RBI single, a three-RBI double, another RBI single and a two-run homer closing out the scoring.
