@NKUNorseSB falls to Titans and Wolf Pack in Santa Clara

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Northern Kentucky softball dropped a pair of contests in the second day of the Silicon Valley Classic II to move to 4-11 on the season. The Norse first fell to Cal State Fullerton, 3-0, before dropping a 12-0 contest in five innings to Nevada.

  • Taylor Ginther got the start for the Norse, falling to 3-5 after pitching 3.1 innings. She struck out two batters and walked a pair.
  • Hailey Whitmer tossed 2.2 innings of relief, striking out two and walking none.
