  • The Raiders scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the second to take a four-run lead. Wright State used an RBI single, a two-run double, an error and a sac fly to plate its runs.
  • NKU's offense sparked in the fifth inning as the Norse got within a run of the Raiders. Jordan Jenkins led off with a single to right field, with Alexis McDaniel entering the game to run before being advanced by Mulder being hit by pitch. Isabell Alexander followed up with a single to left field to load the bases before Orr grounded out to score McDaniel. Frazier then singled to second base to drive Mulder in, and Alexander stole home to close out NKU's scoring run.
  • The Norse tied the contest up in the seventh inning, as Kit Rocco pinch hit and reached on a fielding error by the Wright State second baseman. Toree Stalter returned to run and was driven in by McFarland's single to right field. McFarland was then able to advance to third on a passed ball and a wild pitch, but the frame ended before NKU could pull ahead.
  • Lawson led off the eighth inning with a single to right field and was advanced to second as Jenkins grounded out. Mulder then delivered a single to right center to send Lawson home and give the Norse a 6-5 edge before NKU's defense retired the Raiders in order to seal the game.
