HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's soccer team made it two wins in a row, downing Oakland, 2-1, in the final minutes at NKU Soccer Stadium on Monday afternoon.
"The boys deserve this today to beat the top team in this league," said head coach Stu Riddle. "The defense was incredible, and we worked hard on our set shape all week. We knew we would concede possession, but we didn't give them any clear-cut opportunities. That's what the game-plan was and they all bought in and worked hard for each other."
