DAYTON, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky University baseball team (2-9, 0-4 Horizon League) fell to Wright State (4-5, 4-0 Horizon League), 13-1, on Sunday at Nischwitz Stadium. Wright State also takes the series-sweep over the Norse, 4-0.

ON THE MOUND
- Bryson Lonsbury started the game, recording one out and allowing four runs on five hits.
- TJ Graves wrapped up the first and also threw for the second inning. He gave up four runs on a pair of hits and walks.
- Noah Richardson served up three scoreless innings of relief. He walked three batters and allowed a single hit.
- Bryce Smith went two innings in relief of Richardson, allowing five runs, four hits and a trio of walks.
- Tyler Murphy closed out the game for NKU, throwing a scoreless inning and with just one hit landing on his watch.
KEY MOMENTS
- Five hits by Wright State in the first inning allowed the Raiders to jump out to a 4-0 lead.
- Hall led off with a home run toward left field in the top of the second.
- A couple of wild pitches were the difference maker in Wright State's half of the second, as they plated four more runs.
- The next three innings were scoreless for each side as Richardson and Wright State's starter flew through their respective opposing lineups.
- Wright State added five more runs in the sixth frame.
