CINCINNATI – Northern Kentucky women's tennis picked up another win in Horizon League play after defeating Oakland, 5-2, Sunday morning. The Norse climb to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in league action, while Oakland drops to 2-14 and 2-6 in conference.
Match Notables
- Despite losing both matches in doubles play, the Norse had a quick turnaround win with Sylvia Gray (No. 5) dominating her opponent 6-0, 6-1.
- Three Norse in a row defeated their opposition following Gray. Ananya Kothakota (No. 4) won 6-0, 7-5, Maria Koo (No. 2) clinched the match by winning 6-3, 6-1 and Margita Sunjic beat her opponent 6-2, 6-4.
Northern Kentucky travels to Cleveland, Ohio, to take on the Cleveland State Vikings April 17 and 18.
