HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky.- The Northern Kentucky University men's and women's cross country programs earned United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team distinction the organization announced this week.
 
The women's team posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.57, while the men tallied a 3.34 GPA to garner the accolade. This is the sixth straight time for both the men's and women's squads to earn the academic award since the jump to NCAA Division I and becoming eligible for the award in 2016. The women's program have earned this honor 19 total times overall and the Norse men have earned this accolade on 12 occurrences. 

To be eligible for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award a program must maintain a 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale. Additionally, the squad must start at least five runners at an NCAA Regional.
