WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky men's cross country program had six student-athletes get some work in to close out the regular season at the Jenna Strong Classic that ran through the Wilmington University campus on Friday.

Jacob Messer paced the group with an 89th-place finish at 28:10.7.

Noah Slone and
Thomas Gray-Torsell stuck in a close pack and claimed 115th and 119th, respectively, with times of 28:54.0 and 29:02.1.

Bryan Slotzfus and
Will Griffith rounded out the NKU scoring attack in 144th and 155th.
- As a group, the Norse took 20th overall with 510 points against a field that included more than 29 teams and 247 student-athletes.
