TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Northern Kentucky men's tennis program earned their second win of the season, defeating Eastern Illinois 4-3 Friday afternoon from Terre Haute, Indiana. 

Match Notables

• Single's play began with Emilien Burnel taking down Christos Kyrillou 7-5, 7-6 (7-0), and the clinching win for the Norse. 
• Jorge Rodriguez followed his teammates' footsteps with a win of his own over Leighton Brandon at 6-4, 6-0.
• Tom Berry helped fuel the Norse with a win over Charles Courteau, 7-5, 6-4.
• The final singles win for NKU came from Brandon Ponomarew who took down Tyler Carlin at 6-4, 6-2. 
• In doubles' action, the Norse saw their lone victory come from the tandem of Jorge Rodriguez and Tom Berry who defeated Charles Couteau and Pau Piera with ease at 6-0.
