ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Northern Kentucky women's tennis (4-12) was taken down by the No. 3 seeded Flames of UIC (15-5) in the Horizon League Championship Quarterfinals by a score of 4-1 Friday afternoon. 

MATCH NOTABLES

• The Norse began this contest with the duo of Elizabeth Rozin and Daniela Rosenberger defeating the UIC team of Hrabalova and Forste-Dinell by a score of 6-4. Rozin and Rosenberger as a team imrpoved to 4-6 overall this season. 
• Northern Kentucky captured the doubles point after the team of Sylvia Gray and Ananya Kothakota beat the tandem of Malazonia and Arendt by a score of 7-6 (7-5). Gray and Kothakota improve their doubles record to 4-1 overall as well. 
• The Flames however went on to take four straight singles matches to win this conference quarterfinal matchup by a score fo 4-1.
